The LPN is a member of the health care team and functions with a high degree of independence, is self-directed, displays initiative and good judgement. Duties include but are not limited to:
Adult Screening and give immunizations.
Performs nursing procedures and therapies according to policies and procedures.
Performs support duties for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's treatment plan.
Documents patient care using the electronic medical record.
Communicates to patients and families the rationale for treatment, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Establishes therapeutic relationships with individual patients.
Creates an atmosphere of mutual trust, acceptance and self-worth.
Performs blood draws as needed.
Must have a current BLS.
Must have current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing licenses
Work Schedule: Full Time opening Monday through Friday 8-4:30 or varies . Occasional weekends and holiday coverage may be needed as well.
