Position Summary-
The Nutrition Service Worker is responsible for the completion of tray line, cafeteria and dishwashing functions.
Minimum Qualifications-
Education
Must be at least 17 years old and currently enrolled in high school or an equivalent educational program.
Credentials
State Required: None
GPH Required/Preferred: None
Physical Demands
1-Stand and/or walk entire shift.
2-Lift up to 50 lbs.
3-Climb small ladder.
4-Push cart weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
5-Bend, reach, stoop and kneel throughout shift.
6-Eye hand coordination required.
Essential Functions-
1-Sets up stations with breads, condiments and utensils.
2-Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables (sometimes using a conveyor food belt), and breaks down stations at the end of meal periods.
3-Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
4-Brews coffee and tea.
5-Interacts with customers/patients when delivering trays.
6-Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food.
7-Check patient identifiers.
8-Wash dishes.
