Community Health Worker
The Miller County Health Center is seeking candidates for a Community Health Worker to serve Miller, Morgan, and Moniteau Counties. This CHW is instrumental in linking residents with resources to improve health and wellness, promoting a variety of public health services and initiatives in the community and with our partners. This will be accomplished with a strong relationship with local media, creative social media and website skills, participation in community events and festivals, trainings and presentations. Other duties include community assessments, emergency preparedness, and continuous quality improvement. A Bachelor’s degree and/or a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Certified CHW is preferred, but not required. This full time position (37.5 hours per week) will be compensated with a very robust set of benefits and an annual salary range between $42,000 and $49,000, based on education and experience.
