POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT 

COMPLIANCE CASE ANALYST 

The North Carolina Board of Nursing is seeking a Compliance Case Analyst. Primary  responsibilities of this position are to independently monitor a caseload, verifying  compliance with consent order terms. This position is responsible for examining,  analyzing and interpreting medical, personal and public records to verify compliance and  authenticity and provide cogent, effective testimony in contested cases.  

Applicants must effectively communicate verbally and in writing within internal case  management system and with licensees, employers and attorneys. Must be self motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent time  management skills. Successful applicants must demonstrate attention to detail, strong  critical thinking and ability to work within a multi-tasking team with proficiency in  Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software.  

Education and Experience: 

Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in case  management. Prior experience in healthcare, legal or government setting, and  knowledge of medical/legal terminology preferred. 

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Fulltime position located in the  Board of Nursing’s Raleigh office.
