Program Coordinator Team Leader
Be a leader in an established and growing organization making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities in Southwest Iowa.
This is a Full-time supervisory position, responsible for oversight of a staff of five Program Coordinators. This position also carries a caseload of clients receiving services from the organization. Prefer a bachelor’s degree and previous experience in a leadership role. Prefer previous experience in a direct support or educational position.
Responsible for:
- Supervision of the Program Coordination Department, providing direction as needed to the employees in this department.
- Participation and leadership of a team dedicated to working with individuals to develop their Person-Centered plans for services and supports. These plans are used to coordinate all services received by clients of the organization.
- Provide guidance to staff working directly with individuals with regard to the plans developed.
- Interaction with Case Managers and Managed Care Organization representatives to assure needed services are received.
- Compilation of documentation and data through various reporting to evaluate needs and progress on developed plans.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Caring, empathetic, positive personality is essential for success in this position. Ability to interact and relate to a diverse audience.
Starting Salary: $22.00/hour. Previous experience will be evaluated.
