Tech - Front Office and Optical Positions Available

Dynamic Ophthalmology/Optometric Eye clinic hiring full-time and/or part-time staff for the following positions in all three locations: 

Experience preferred, but will train

Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician

Optical - Opticians

Front Office

Valparaiso, Crown Point , Munster

Qualified candidates for all positions must possess excellent internal and external customer service skills, be able to multi-task and work under pressure.  Should be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.  Also the ability to be a team player who works well with all employees.  Have basic office skills.

Travel may be required - reimbursement for travel at the clinic's current rate 

Medical Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician - Make introductions and establish rapport with patients.  Initiate patient evaluation, documenting chief complaint, gather and document patient history, perform pre-testing, glare test, pupillary dilation as well as other exam related tasks.

Front Office - Scheduling appointments for all offices, check-in and check-out desks, chart prep, insurance related matters

Optical - Opticians assist with fitting of glasses, contact lens instructions, optimizing patient's insurance benefits
