Maintenance Tech II duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

· Performs general building maintenance. Inspects building, equipment, and systems to identify any issues. Repairs faulty equipment units and damaged structures.

· Conducts routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs to guarantee functionality; conducts routine HVAC and boiler system checks.

· Performs minor drywall, tile, pipe, vent, and window repair as needed.

· Fixes safety hazards and assists with development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures.

· Performs exterior maintenance such lawn care and minor grounds work. Also requires snow removal of walkways and entrances, working snow blowers, and plowing snow.

· Inspects and performs repairs to resident beds, wheelchairs, minor medical equipment, and other mechanical devices.

· Addresses work orders and plans and schedule repairs.

· Transports residents to appointments and other functions.

· Maintains inventory records for equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

· Eighteen (18) years of age or older.

· High school diploma or equivalent. Trade/technical school certification a plus.

· Experience in healthcare facility or similar environment preferred, but not required.

· Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electric, heating and AC a plus.

· Problem-solving abilities.

· Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks.

· Basic PC skills. Ability to create basic documents in MS Office.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Customer service-oriented attitude.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

· Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed. Some weekend work and holiday rotation required. Paid emergency on-call availability required.
