Quality Coordinator
This position is responsible for participating in efforts to help PrimeWest Health achieve our four dimensional (4D) goals for improving and supporting our members’ health and social well-being by providing the operational implementation and day-to-day management of PrimeWest Health’s Quality Work Plan, Quality Assessment, Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs), Chronic Care Improvement Program (CCIP), and focus studies and working cooperatively with other departments to complete projects in a timely manner. The Quality Coordinator helps monitor PrimeWest Health’s overall performance against State and Federal standards for quality improvement projects and recommending opportunities for improving performance.
Educational Requirements and Required Qualifications
At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, with preferred expertise in assigned area of responsibility or 2 – 3 years of experience equivalent to the position requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and proficiency in, Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with a variety of people both within and outside of the organization.
Ability to sit at a desk or computer station most of the time. Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry such articles as file folders and small boxes up to 20 pounds. Some travel and/or overnight travel may be required.
