Youth Services Clinical Coordinator

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the delivery of clinical service to children and adolescents.
• Assists the Program Director with development and modification of services, policies and procedures, staffing patterns, staff selections and evaluations.
• Oversees services provided through the following programs: mentoring, school based, and youth recreation.
• Evaluates clinical services to ensure excellence and efficiency.
• Engage in quality assessment activities and analysis.
• Prepare program reports.
• Oversees assessments and diagnosis of patients, shall direct the preparation and maintenance of clinical records.
• Observes clinical staff in the provision of services and reviews documentation of services to ensure that care is carried out.
• Review meetings to ensure clients have a completed assessment and is staffed in a team setting with the proper clinician.
• Investigates and resolves complaints.
• Completes assessments, treatment plans, and facilitates counseling and intervention services to 15-20 clients.
• Coordinate and deliver training activities. Shall give orientations to new staff and identify training and educational needs.

Qualification Requirements: Master’s Degree or higher in mental health, social work or in a related field; Must have had five years of specialized experience in coordination in a behavioral health facility with a focus on child services or job-related field.
