Temporary/Casual Mental Health Counselor - Office of Student Counseling
The University of Minnesota, Morris is searching for a Mental Health Care Provider on a part time, temporary/ casual basis starting immediately. This can be either on site/in-person in the Morris counseling center or provided via telehealth or teletherapy in the State of Minnesota. The qualified candidate will provide individual counseling, crisis response, consultation on mental health issues, and coordination of projects and programs that foster student health and wellbeing.
Applicants are required to have a master's degree in counseling, counseling psychology, social work or related field with four years of experience, including at least a year of direct college/community mental health counseling experience. Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities include a licensure as a professional counselor or other appropriate mental health professional. Experience working with American Indian communities, communities of color, LGBTQIA2S communities, people with disabilities, low income families, first generation college students, and/or international students.
